One day a poor farmer was taking a bag of rice to town. Suddenly the bag fell from his horse on the road. He didn’t know what to do about it because it was too heavy for him to lift (舉起) by himself. He only hoped that somebody would soon pass (經(jīng)過) by and help him.

Just at this moment a man riding a horse came up to him. But the farmer was very disappointed（失望的）when he saw who he was. It was the great man living nearby. The farmer had hoped to ask another farmer or a poor man like him for help.

When I was young，I liked to play jokes on people I knew, especially on my parents and friends. One day my mother was cooking and I was playing with my younger brother Tony. Hello, I’m Vladislav. For my summer holidays, I usually stay in a country house near Moscow.
Last summer, my dad’s brother gave me a present — a blue bike. At that time I couldn’t ride it very well.
One day I got into an accident. But don’t worry, everything was OK, just some “l(fā)ittle” injuries.
That day, I tried to ride my bike and suddenly it began to move very fast. I couldn’t stop the bike. So I fell into a ditch (溝) full of dirty water. When I thought I had had enough bad luck, a girl walked by. She saw the bike and me. I quickly stood up.
