用善良做底色

天氣冷得出奇，寒風咆哮著卷起雪花，升騰起嗆人的白煙。
溫暖的紅磚房里，母親在廚房里忙碌著，柴火在灶坑里噼啪作響，鍋上冒著潤白的蒸氣。我和弟弟早就餓了，正眼巴巴地等待著第一鍋酸菜肉蒸餃出籠。
這時，有人叫門。父親出去片刻，帶回一個衣著單薄的外鄉人來。看上去是個20多歲的農民，但是很年輕，嘴唇都發青了，顯然在風雪中凍了很久。
“這絲棉很好的，你看看。”他說著，卸下肩上的舊麻袋，就要往外掏絲棉。
“別拿了，我不買絲棉。”父親止住了他，“外面太冷，請你進屋暖和暖和！”“哦，不買？不買啊？這絲棉好，真的很好。”他有些失望，坐在暖和的火墻旁，一時卻也并不想挪動。
這時，母親端上了兩大盤熱騰騰的酸菜肉蒸餃。“你一定餓了，吃幾個餃子擋擋寒吧！”母親看著仍有些哆嗦的他，把筷子遞過去。　　
那人的確是餓了，推辭了一下，便接過筷子狼吞虎咽起來。當他意識到我們一家人還沒吃飯時，兩盤蒸餃只剩下了小半盤。他尷尬地抬起來，窘迫不安地囁嚅道：“這……我……我……你們，你們還沒吃吧？”
母親笑道：“還有呢，你要吃飽了啊！”
蒸餃的確還有，可那一籠是純素餡兒的，一丁點兒肉都沒放。
弟弟捏了捏我的衣角，嘟起嘴來。
一盤半的蒸餃，對他來說可能也就六分飽，但無論如何他也不肯再吃了。
接下來的聊天中，我們知道他是安徽的農民，跟父親弟弟一起到北方販絲棉，沒想到折了本，近年關了，打算把剩下的絲棉低價處理了，好歹掙回返鄉的路費。　　“我兄弟的腳凍壞了，他跟我父親在車站蹲著呢。今兒天太冷，沒讓他們出來，我尋思把最后一包絲棉賣了，今晚就跟他們坐火車回去。”他說。
母親聽了，感嘆道：“唉，你們做點小生意，也挺不容易啊！”
父親跟母親輕聲說了點什么，母親便去倉房找了三雙半新的棉鞋，還有半面袋的凍豆包回來，遞給這個年輕人說：“我們也不是有錢人家，要不然，就把你這絲棉買下了。這雙棉鞋你換上，另兩雙拿去給你父親和弟弟穿，北方不比南方，腳凍傷了可了不得！凍豆包我們今年蒸得多，你帶幾個讓你的父親和弟弟嘗嘗吧！”
年輕人站了起來，拘謹地搓著手，一遍遍地說：“這可咋好呢？這可咋好呢？我這是遇上好人家了！”　　
我們把他送出門時，年輕人一眼瞥見院子里一堆鋸好的圓木。他突然放下肩上的包，三步兩步搶過去，“我干點兒活再走！”說著便掄起大斧，劈起柴來。母親正要勸阻，父親說： “讓他干吧！”
寒風中，雪花飄飛，年輕人已經走了，我家院子里，整整齊齊地碼著一垛劈得粗細均勻的柴火。
弟弟吃了剩下的半盤有肉的蒸餃，玩去了。我跟父母吃著第二籠純素餡兒的蒸餃，覺得溫暖而香甜。
我一直認為，在這個世界上，最賞心悅目的，是纖塵未染的青山綠水；最溫暖人心的，是人與人之間純潔真摯的感情。 暮年回首時，最有價值的財富，應是一顆恬淡寧靜的心，和一份豐富無悔的回憶。而所有這一切的擁有，都需要用一顆善良單純的心做底色。
