This semester the sports meeting hold in our school was unforgettable. Our class attended the opening parade, for that we had made a lot of preparations. Our parade took on the shape of the letter “V”, which indicated victory for them. To our excitement, our parade performance was great success. As usual, the games started before the opening parade. My classmates attended a lot of event such as running, high jump and long jump. Due to the hard training the athletes had done before, their performances were particular impressive. On the stand, we applauded and cheer for the athletes, some raise their cameras to capture the exciting moments. Finally, the result was announced. It was amazing that our class came first. Our efforts were paid off!

Every weekend, I go shopping downtown with a friend, but it is more a hobby than anything else. I usually take a few cash, but I also have a credit card just in case. I mainly visit department and clothing stores to check in the latest fashions. If I found something on sale I sometimes buy it. I make sure to keep the receipt in case I have to return back the item. I really enjoy walking along the store fronts and gaze into the windows to see which the store is selling. At other times, I like looking at the displays in stores. Sometimes, something like a shirt and jeans catches my eye, but I’m not a compulsively shopper, so I never buy the first thing I see. Many time, I come home without buying a thing.

The other day Li Ping was riding in the street when the old man came across the street without noticing her. The old man was knocking down. Instead of helping him stand up, Li Ping shouted at the old man angry.
The old man did not say something more. Several minutes later, she remembered her shoes lay on the backseat of the bicycle, but now they are missing. She hurried back to the place which the accident took place. To his surprise, Li Ping found the old man was waiting her.
