What will man be like in the future? We can only make a guess; of course, we can be sure that he will be different from what he is today, because man is slowly changing all the time.

Let's take an obvious example.Man, five hundred years ago, was shorter than he is today. Now, on the average, man is about 10 centimeters taller. So we may assume that man will continue growing taller.

In modern world we use our brain a great deal. But we just use about 20%of the brain's capacity. As time goes on, we shall have to use our brains more and more, we shall even need larger ones. The brains will grow larger.

Nowadays our eyes are used all the time.In fact, we use them so much and they become weaker, we have to wear glasses. But over a long time, man's eyes will grow stronger.

On the other hand, we will make less use of our arms and legs.As a result, they will become weaker. At the same time, our fingers will grow stronger because they are used a great deal.

But what about air?It will disappear from the earth altogether, because there are so many people.

Perhaps all this gives the impressions that future man will not be a very attractive creature to look at, and this may become true.In spite of all these changes, future man will still have a lot in common with us.He will still be a human being, with thought and feelings.
