　　Recently, our school has had a survey on reading．It shows some students，about 45％, spend their time reading textbooks after school．Many of the students who choose to read cartoons account for 30％．15％ of the students like reading other books．However, only 10％ enjoy reading literature works．

　　Why are so many students unwilling to spend some time reading literature works? Nearly half of the students say that they have no enough time because they have too much work to do．Some complain that literature works are so thick that they have hardly enough patience to finish them．Others simply admit they dislike reading literature works and it won't help them at all with their exams．

　　As is known to us all, books play an important role in our life．Reading books, especially literature works, can broaden our horizons and do good to our mind．So in our spare time we'd better choose literature works to read, which helps us learn more about the customs and cultures in the past and at present, at home and abroad．
