　　Some people say“yes”to this phenomenon. They think，for one thing，it can make more people care about education；for another，those top students can and do set good examples to the rest of the students.
　　However，others hold opposite opinions about this. They believe that giving too much attention to those top winners can do more harm than good to them. Meanwhile，high marks don’t necessarily mean strong ability.
　　In my opinion，it’s all right to give proper attention to those top winners. But we shouldn’t pay too much attention to them. After all，exams and marks aren’t everything.

I smiled back, and later, when the manager asked me how I’d like my first day. I said, “Fine!” Those few words of praise had changed everything. Praise is like sunshine to the human spirit; no flower can grow without it. And yet, most of us are only too ready to apply to others the cold wind of criticism; we are unwilling to give our fellows the warm sunshine of praise. Why when one word of praise can bring such benefit?
In fact, to give praise costs the giver nothing but a moment’s thought and a moment’s effort but will reward both the giver and the recipient with a happy day. Let’s learn to give credit (贊揚) to people around us.
