【答案】Last week, our school held a chorus competition, the “12.9 Chorus”.

Our teacher told us about the chorus at the class meeting on Monday, encouraging us to take an active part in the activity. Later, we carried out a heated discussion to select songs. Everyone was involved in and we all agreed on singing Defending Yellow River in the competition.

Four days later, the much-anticipated chorus started in the school hall. In the chorus, we sang with full passion under the direction of our conductor, wearing uniform costumes. We were glad to see that all audience applauded warmly at the end of our performance. Thanks to our wonderful and impressive performance, we finally won the first prize.

During the competition, not only were we proud of our triumph, but also deeply impressed by the meaning of cooperation.
