April l5 Saturday Fine About thirty German students came to visit our school today. We gathered at the school gate at eight o'clock to give them a warm welcome. Then we had a get-together in the gymnasium. Our headmaster told them something about our school. And then we talked with each other and exchanged gifts. From nine thirty we showed them around our school. They visited our teaching building, the labs and the dormitories. A friendly basketball game started on the sports ground at ten thirty. At twelve o'clock we had Lunch at our canteen. At one o'clock we visited the Great Wall, where we spent three hours worshiping the famous Chinese cultural relic. At five o'clock we saw our German friends off at the school gate. All of us were tired but happy because we strengthened the friendship between German students and Chinese students. |
