Last year I boarded a plane for the US for further study. As it was the first time I had ever left
my motherland, I had great difficulty with many things including everyday life, culture, study and so on. However, I am not a person to give up easily. Every time I met with difficulties, I would ask my host family, my tutor or others for help. At last I made it. Now I am adapted to the whole new life here
Besides, to have a balance between study and social life, I joined a club, where I made a lot of new friends and participated in many activities. I wondered at the excellent farewell of the US society when assisting in caring for the old and the disabled as well as helping children (out) with their lessons in a farewell house. In the Robot Museum, there was a wide variety of robots on show, either from the past, at present, or in the future. Every cell in my body woke up in the Ocean Park, where I saw fishes of different vivid colors and shapes, making my heart beat wildly. That was really a day of pure magic! The visit to the Rocky Mountains on the west coast of the country gave me a fantastic view of the amazing mountain scenery. / Once we went hiking on the Rocky Mountains on the west coast of the country, greatly amazed by the fantastic mountain scenery.
All in all, the past year is the most unforgettable time in my life. Studying abroad is a great experience, which will give you an opportunity not only to be independent but also to experience the wonderful world.
