How are you? I've got a wonderful news to tell you．I have offered a scholarship at a university in Australia for my further education．One hundred and twenty students took exam for it, but only a few were chosen and I was one of them．Therefore, my parents are not happy about it．They are strong against my going there．They say it is too far away that they will not see me for a whole year and they are afraid that I will feel alone．They can't imagine a girl so young live alone．They advice me to study in the capital instead．Then I'll be able to continue living with them．How can I persuade them to accept the fact I have grown up?

Today I'd like to tell you anything about riding a bike in London．If you visit London, you'll see many buses, cars or bikes．It's very cheap and quick to use bike．If you take a bus, I often have to wait for an hour or so．Besides, the buses move very slowly．The underground is quickly but expensive and often crowded．I used to travel to work by bus．I was often late, and tiring．Then a friend suggested we went to work by bike．I followed him．Although we went slowly, but we always arrived on time．Taking a bus takes 50 minutes, while ride a bike only half an hour．Now I love riding to work and I feel more better．

My spare time is full of interested activities. I read all kinds of books in the reading room whenever I am free. I learn much in the library than in class in this way. Meanwhile, I participated in many sports activities, of that my favorite is volleyball. I often play volleyball after the school. Sports and games keep me healthy and energetic enough to get across a variety of difficulties. Sometime I go in for social practice with my classmates outside school. Thus, I can gain much social experiences. Out-of-class activities are quite necessary for our students. Through these activities we can learn many things can not be learned in class.

Many teenagers feel lonely, even if no one understands them and the changes they are going through. Day by day, everything seems differently, yet the same. Life never seems to be going fast enough; yet, by other ways, like a race car, life seems to be rushing so fast too control. These feelings are a common part of adolescence—the time of life between child or adult. And, though it may sometimes be difficult to believe, you are not alone—every adult have gone through adolescence, and your friends are going through them right now along with you. It is common for teenagers to feel lonely and misunderstood. These feelings can be being thought of as growing pains— difficulties that teenagers face during they grow to adults.
