Recently my school has chosen a boy and a girl to be its image ambassadors and hopes that others can learn from the two model students. There is a heated debate among the students on this issue.

Some students think that an image ambassador can set a good example for all the other students and inspire all of them. What’s more, in order to be an image ambassador, everyone will try their best to get rid of their bad habits and pay more attention to their appearance and develop their abilities. However, other students hold different views. They believe a person’s inner qualities play a more important role in their life. Besides, each student’s unique style should be appreciated. They are also worried that some students may pay too much attention to their appearance.

As far as I am concerned, image ambassadors can’t set up a standard image for all of the students to follow. As a student, we shouldn’t place too much importance on image. Instead, the students’ abilities should be the most important thing to consider.
