Some people are for the cancellation. They think both liberal arts and science are worth learning, because they develop our all-round abilities, which is essential in modern society. Besides, students can also master two different ways of thinking by balancing the two, and that is to benefit a lot in their future lives. However, some people are against the idea. They believe that if there is no division, students will have to learn too many subjects, which is sure to increases their burden. What’s more, many students are good at specific fields, but poor at some subjects, so canceling the division will exclude them from entering universities.
