Martin Luther King was a famous leader of the African-American Civil Rights Movement who cared about poor black people and fought for their equality and freedom. He devoted himself to equal treatment of people of different races around the world. In 1968 he received the Nobel Peace Prize before he was killed. The most well-known speech given by Martin Luther King was I Have a Dream.
