One possible version:

Newspapers and websites are two major new media in the world today, both of which can provide us with lots of news and information. .They are similar in several ways. For example, they both aim at providing information to the public. Besides that, advertising is an important way for both of them to make money.

In spite of the above similarities, there are a few differences. Newspapers enjoy a longer history and often come out daily with more reliable news and information. They can be carried and read almost anywhere you like. So many people like reading them. But they can only contain texts and photos.

　　On the other hand, websites are quite new and popular, especially among young people. Websites have not only texts with pictures but also audios and videos, which makes stories more interesting. What’s more, they are updated from time to time. So the latest news is always seen on websites instead of in newspapers. So websites offer us the latest news faster than newspapers. But it is not quite convenient for people without a computer connected with the Internet to get information from websites. Furthermore,  newspapers have to be paid for while most websites are free. And it is on the websites that we can express ourselves and exchange ideas with others more easily.

In my opinion, websites and newspaper play their own roles in our lives and they are part of our lives.

評分標準：

一、翻譯 （共20分）

翻譯第一題三分,第二、三、四 題4分，第五題5分。

單詞拼寫、標點符號、大小寫錯誤累計每兩處扣一分; 語法錯誤每處扣一分。

每句同類錯誤不重復扣分。

譯文沒有用所給單詞扣一分。

二、作文  （共25分）

1．本題總分為25分，其中內容10分，語言10分，組織結構5分。

2．評分時應注意內容要點，應用詞匯和語法結構的數量和準確性及上下文的連貫性。

3．評分時，先根據文章的內容和語言初步確定所屬檔次，然后對照相應的組織結構檔次給予加分。其中，內容和語言兩部分相加，得15分以上者，組織結構部分可考慮加4～5分，15分以下者只能考慮加0，1，2，3分。內容和語言部分的得分相差一般不超過2分。（具體見下表）

 

4．各檔次給分要求：
