Recently more than 260,000 netizens have participated in the survey about whether the curriculum of senior high school should be divided into arts and science.

About 46% of the netizens are in favor of the idea that the curriculum should be divided into arts and science. Otherwise, students may have too much to learn, which increases their burden greatly. However, about 54% of the netizens think that it is unwise to get arts and science separated. They believe that it is not good for students’ full development and that they may have a narrow knowledge.

In my opinion, the problem does not lie in whether the curriculum should be divided or not. Actually, some students spend their time and energy mostly on either arts or science, which may have a bad effect on their future. So I would like to suggest that the college entrance examination should be reformed.
