Winter is dangerous because it’s difficult to know what is going to happen and accidents happen so easily. Fog can be waiting to meet you over the top of a hill. Ice ahead might be hiding under the melting (融化的) snow,waiting to send you off the road.
Rule Number One for driving on city icy roads is to drive smoothly. Sudden movements can make a car very difficult to control. Remember that you may be driving more quickly than you think. So keep enough distance (距離) ，five meters,when the road is wet,three times this distance on snow,and even more on ice. Try to stay in control (控制) of your car at all times and you will get away from trouble.
