A篇：
If I were a parent
At present many students communicate with parents less and less. Some of them think their parents don’t know about them well including me. If I were a parent, I would play with my kid as much as possible. I could play basketball, soccer, or volleyball with him or her. We could both play and talk with each other. So I could know what he or she is thinking about and what he or she is going to do. I could give him or her  a hand. Then he would treat me as his or her friend, we could communicate very well. Also, I could give some advice for his or her development. I think I would be a good parent if I did like this. I hope so.
B篇：                 
I’m in Grade Three now. And my life has changed a lot. My daily life is quite different. For example, I used to get up at 6:00 to read English or Chinese loud. I used to go to bed at 9:00 am, but I have to stay up until 11:00 pm to study for my tests. I spent much time watching TV or chatting with my friends online. But study takes all my time at present. Even on the weekends, I’m not allowed to go out with my friends. I have to go home after school. I used to play basketball or tennis after school because I love them. But I have no time now. I need time to do my homework. Now I have little time to play and to do what I like. I really miss my old days.
