Martin Luther King was born in Georgia, U.S.A. When he was a boy, he sang with other children in the church.
Little Martin knew that it was very important to love and be kind to others.
Although the church was very important to Martin, he was interested in other things, too. He liked sports very much. He was not tall, but he was very strong. The boys in his town often met at Martin’s house for a game of football or basketball.
Martin liked school and was a very good student. He went to college at fifteen. At first, he didn’t know what he wanted to study. He became not only the symbolic leader of American blacks but also a world figure. He was murdered(謀殺) on the evening of April 4, 1968.

One day Bob took two of his friends into the mountains. They put up their tents and then rode off to a forest to see how the trees were growing.
In the afternoon when they were about ten kilometres from their camp（營地）, it started to snow. More and more snow fell. Soon Bob could hardly see his hands before his face. He could not find the road. Bob knew there were two roads. One road went to the camp, and the other went to his house. But all was white snow. Everything was the same. How could he take his friends back to the camp?
