The Sunshine Hotel
Dear Mr Zhang,
Thank you for your letter asking about our hotel. Below is some information for you before your visit.
The Sunshine Hotel is at the North Pole,so your home is south of the hotel!Come to the hotel this summer. During the summer there are twenty hours of sunshine every day!
To get to the hotel you must leave China and go north by plane. It is a long way to the North Pole. You need a warm coat,a very warm hat,a scarf and gloves. At night the temperature can be minus thirty degrees!We can build snowmen. You can play in the show at midnight because it is still bright.
The hotel has ninety floors and nine hundred rooms. Every room has a balcony and a view of the beautiful snow. If you are lucky,you might see a bear. There is a swimming pool outside,but you can’t swim in it because water changes to ice at zero degrees. This doesn’t matter because everyone in the hotel enjoys iceskating more than swimming.
We give hot coffee to everyone in our coffee bar. The coffee comes from South America,North Africa and South Africa. If you need to rest,you can wsleep on the sofas in the lobby. If you want a soft drink,we put ice from the swimming pool in your dink.
