The movie is from a Canadian writer Yann MarteFs book of the same name. The book has sold 7 million copies worldwide. It discusses not only hope but also relationship (關系) between humans and nature.
It took Li An four years to make the movie. He also used 3D for his first time. He hopes the movie will ^make the people think>,. Life of Pi opened in Chinese theatres on November 22 ,2012.

There is not enough oil in the world now. As time goes by,it becomes less and less. So what are we going to do when oil runs out? Perhaps we will go back to use our horses,carriages (馬車) and bicycles.
In the Second World War,some people didn’t use gas made from petroleum (石油) in their cars. They made gas from wood and plants instead. The car didnJt go fast,but they ran,so this was better than nothing. However,in the future,we can’t c?t down all our trees to make gas,we need our trees for other things too.
