Chopsticks are usually made of wood or bamboo. For more than3， 000 years, the Chinese have been using these tools for their everyday meals.

Later on,other people copied Yu's idea. It was how chopsticks became part of the Chinese culture all those years ago.
In history, Yu was a legendary character.
That means we do not know if he actually made the first pair of chopsticks. But nothing can change the fact that the Chinese have been using chopsticks for a very long time. They even introduced the tools to Japan，Korea，and other countries nearby.
