同義變形的副詞
有少數(shù)既可以作形容詞也可以作副詞的單詞，加后綴-ly后仍為副詞，其意義或相同,或相近，或有較大差別。這類副詞我們學(xué)過(guò)的有下列幾對(duì)：
▲close與closely:close意思是“靠近”;closely是“靠近，緊密地”。例如：
Singapore lies so close to the equator.新加坡靠赤道如此之近。
We should communicate closely as a team.我們要像一個(gè)團(tuán)隊(duì)一樣密切溝通。
▲late與lately: late意思是“晚”;lately意思是“最近”。例如：
You came here too late.你來(lái)得太晚了。
What are you doing lat?ly?你最近在做什么？
▲deep與deeply:deep表示空間深度;deeply可表示感情的深度。例如:
The whales are swimming deep in the sea.這些鯨在深海里游動(dòng)。
They were deeply moved by the film.這部電影使他們深受感動(dòng)。
▲high與highy：high表示空間高度;highly表示程度，相當(dāng)于much。例如：
Whales can jump high out of the water.鯨可以跳出水面很高。
The U.S. is a highly developed country.美國(guó)是一個(gè)高度發(fā)達(dá)的國(guó)家。
▲wide與widely:wide表示空間寬度;widely意思是“廣泛地”。例如:
He opened the door wide.他把門(mén)開(kāi)得大大的。
English is widely used in the world.英語(yǔ)在世界范圍內(nèi)廣泛使用。
