Li Ping and her classmates Liu Hong and Zhang Ming went to help clean up the People's Park last Saturday. She brought big plastic bags with her. One was for waste paper,the other two were for bottles and plastic bags.
Suddenly Li Ping found a wallet lying in the grass under a tree. She picked it up and opened it. There was an ID card and a driver's license in it. When she saw the pictures on them,she couldn’t help laughing.
Liu Hong and Zhang Ming came to her when they heard her laughing. They asked her what was so funny. Li Ping told them they could have ice cream,even lunch for free because she had picked up a wallet.
They told her it wasn’t good to take money from the owner's wallet. Li Ping said it didn't matter. The owner would be pleased ta buy something for them.
She took out her mobile phone from her pocket and called the owner. She asked the owner if he would like to get his wallet back. Then she told him where she was.
Half an hour later,a man,a woman and a boy came. The boy looked at Li Ping and shouted ,“What are you doing,cousin?”
Li Ping told her classmates the woman was her aunt — her father's sister. The boy was her cousin and the man was her aunt's husband.
The three of them also helped clean up the park till twelve o’clock. And then Li Ping's aunt drove them to a restaurant to have lunch.
